AAMI Vase

The Group 2 AAMI Vase will take place as part of Cox Plate Day this Saturday October 22, 2011, at Moonee Valley Racecourse and here you will find access to the final field and barrier draw information for the race.

Just six horses have accepted for the $200,000 AAMI Vase, which is this year known as the Mitchelton Wines Vase.

Included in the AAMI Vase 2011 final horse racing field is Manawanui, who won the $1 million Golden Rose last month.

The three-year-old gelding went on to finish a close second to Helmet in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas last start.

Manawanui has drawn barrier four in the 2011 AAMI Vase and will be ridden by jockey Glyn Schofield.

Also included in the 2011 AAMI Vase final field is Collar, who finished third at Caulfield last start after striking interference at the 200 metre mark.

Collar will be having his first run amongst Group company in Saturday’s AAMI Vase and has drawn barrier five of six for the race.

Power Broker, Scelto, I Feel Good and Danichi also feature in the AAMI Vase 2011 final field.
