Nominations Announced – 2011 AAMI Vase

The AAMI Vase is due to run at Moonee Valley Racecourse this Saturday October 22, 2011, and here we will provide you with a comprehensive list of nominations for the race.

The AAMI Vase, which is this year known as the Mitchelton Wine Vase, is run over 2,040 metres and is worth $200,000.

Eight three-year-olds have nominated to be part of the 2011 AAMI Vase, including Golden Rose winner Manawanui.

Manawanui finished a close second last start behind Helmet in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas and is sure to be favourite for the 2011 AAMI Vase.

The Oratorio gelding has won five of his seven race starts and has earned more than $1 million in prize money.

Also included in the 2011 AAMI Vase are Collar, Niagara and The Deep South.
